MAXFLOW optimises filtration processes in the metal-working industry
All over the world, the metal working industry is faced with huge challenges. The demands of today's customers, for example variable lot sizes, or new product variants and working materials, not to forget the pressure to maintain sustainable production and economic efficiency, all call for continuous optimisation of processes. The order of the day is reliability, maximum automation of processes, and strict compliance with minimum tolerances. Costs for energy, sourcing and disposal have to be reduced; the service life of machines extended. In this respect, the filtration of cooling lubricants in metal working is a key factor for success.
With its MAXFLOW System, the CompactFiltration business unit of GKD – Gebr. Kufferath AG, based in Dueren, Germany, has established a generation of filters that guarantee measurably greater efficiency in a wide range of applications. Maxflow units are self-cleaning and operate without filter aids. They considerably improve the productivity of compact filter and belt filter processes, especially in sophisticated high precision applications.
